Scott Smith receives CFP designation
Scott Smith, CPA, CFP®, at Smith, Kunz & Associates, PLLC in Rexburg, Idaho, has been authorized by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards (CFP Board) to use the certification marks CFP®, Certified Financial Planner™ and CFP (with flame design)® in accordance with CFP Board certification and renewal requirements. Mr. Smith worked at Smith, Kunz & Associates, PLLC from 2004 through 2008, and returned in 2011 after graduating with a masters degree in accounting and working for an international accounting firm in the Washington, D.C. area. Scott is responsible for consulting our clients regarding their financial health.
The CFP® marks identify those individuals who have met the rigorous experience and ethical requirements of the CFP Board, have successfully completed financial planning
coursework and have passed the CFP® Certification Examination covering the following areas: the financial planning process, risk management, investments, tax planning and management, retirement and employee benefits, and estate planning.
